David is the President of BIG Investment Services. A Johns Hopkins alumni, he got his start in financial services through the insurance industry in 1993 and has been serving individual investors as a full service financial advisor for over 10 years. He currently holds and maintains security registrations for series 63, 65, 7, 9 and 10  and is also licensed as a Life and Health insurance representative. Committed to remaining a student of his profession, he has attended numerous continuing education courses throughout the years with the most recent being the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Executive Education Program.

When it comes to money management, David feels that people care much more about their losses than they do their gains. This belief has molded his investment philosophy and planning approach throughout the years. David is a Fundamental Choice Portfolio Manager through Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC. Fundamental Choice is a discretionary management program in which he manages his own custom models using various investments.* In an effort to maintain efficiency and scalability, he has created 6 models that he believe's are appropriate for different risk tolerances, tax considerations, income needs and growth objectives. In addition to the Fundamental Choice platform, David also helps individual investors via traditional non-discretionary investment strategies where needed.

In addition to managing his practice, David stays very active in the community. He has served on the boards of the American Heart Association, Salvation Army and as President of the Dover Downtown Rotary. He is currently active in Rotary, The Delaware Family Policy Council, the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce and his church, Calvary Assembly of God.

He enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their 3 children, Jacqueline, Leah and Brian. The family is very active in their church's music, theatrical and children's ministries.

If not working, spending time with his family or playing music, you're likely to find him on a basketball court, golf course, tennis court, in the gym, fishing, hunting, camping, or under the hood of something in the garage.... showing a commitment to diversification in both the portfolios he manages as well as his life's interests!
